Sacramento Custom Home Office

Our customer approached us to help them find a solution to a room in their home that was just not meeting it’s potential. The room was a very small space that was completely taken up by a queen size guest bed and although it was a functional guestroom, it was not meeting their needs on a daily basis.

With our customer’s input, we were able to put together a design that allowed the space to be utilized as a home office day to day, and then when company arrived it is a snap to easily convert it into a guest room. They were able to keep a queen sized bed in the room, but now instead of the bed taking up about 34 square feet, it only takes up 7 square feet! That is 27 square feet gained, just by putting in a murphy bed!

The Queen size Murphy wall bed easily folds up and down in seconds and may be stored with all the bedding in place. We also installed a computer workstation, with a pull out keyboard tray. We also installed open shelving, upper cabinetry, file drawers and storage.
